At the beginning of July, Sun Marketing received an invitation to the competition called "Looking for the best PPC expert in context". As a still active specialist in PPC and PPM campaigns, normally also operating in the Etarget system, I decided to participate in the competition and achieve the best possible placement. Now, after more than a month, we as a company received congratulations for winning the competition, where we defeated the biggest players in the field of Czech Internet agencies. The wording of B2B Email List the task and the strategy leading to victory The competition was designed with the so-called Knockout system, where only one of the 3 advertisers advances in each round and the other 2 are eliminated. The quality of individual advertisements was assessed according to the value of CTR (Click Through Rate) or click through rate – the ratio between the display of the advertisement and the number of clicks on the advertisement. A credit of CZK 3,000 was divided between 3 advertisers, with a deadline for its use set at 3 days. Since submitting the ad, none of the contestants could intervene in the campaign and change the parameters, which were fixed to appear on all servers with a purchase price of CZK 3 per click. The organizer also determined keywords (KWs) for each round of the competition. These keywords were common to all contestants.
